A Daughter-Father Project

James Vincent is an accomplished designer, artist and photographer in Metro Detroit. His body of work covers event, hospitality, automotive, manufacturing, travel, health industries and countless others — ranging from multi-national corporations to local mom and pop shops. As an artist, he studied design and painting under the renowned Detroit artist Carol Ward. He’s also taught design and typography at the world-class Center for Creative Studies—College of Art & Design, in Detroit. Over the last several years, he’s developed a passion for woodworking and furniture design/building that has resulted in many commissioned pieces for both residential and professional clients.

Natalie Rose, having been raised by an artist, has a keen eye for art and design, most prevalently home decor. Vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces have always been her focus, and she recently developed a passion for scavenging estate sales and troves of antique treasure with her father.

In the summer of 2019, Natalie decided to begin offering for sale the items they design, build, and collect together – and Vincent Rose ARTifacts was born. An obvious reference to their middle names, the company name is also an homage to Jim’s paternal grandparents, Vincenzo and Rose, immigrants from Sicily who raised a large family in America and passed down an enduring appreciation of the Arts.
